The Alfa Nero is a luxurious super-yacht of 82 meters in length at cost of $ 190 million. It is the most exciting project an Italian company Nuvolari & Lenard to date.
The Italian designers are known to create the best designs of furniture, cars, and, of course, yachts with the knowledge that the design concepts of Nuvolari & Lenard are today copied by competitors. Despite the fact that the company is relatively young, its design is of interest not only for customers but many other yacht makers in the industry. It is the recognition perfect workmanship and considered the flag ship yacht that others aspire to creating. Nuvolari & Lenard has a showroom in Venice, offering clients the opportunity to get acquainted with all existing concepts and services, to study marine engineering and design. In addition to creating original designs and luxurious yachts, Nuvolari & Lenard places high priority and great attention to the safety of the ship.
The Alfa Nero is undoubtedly the best ever creation of Nuvolari & Lenard. Of the modern design of large yachts this craft is dominated by common variations on the theme: bright white body, the presence of three decks, a sky lounge behind the cutting and mahogany finishing. In fact, you can rarely see a boat that has different variations from the above features. However, Nuvolari & Lenard Alfa Nero can easily be attributed to a small number of yachts with has fresh and original designs.
If the Alfa Nero was a regular yacht, she would have a stern with awnings. Instead, Alfa Nero’s aft deck has an open space, with nothing but clear blue skies to gaze at. This design catch is not accidental; the open aft not only allows you to enjoy the open spaces with a lounge by the pool, but also to use this site for landing the helicopter if required.
The Alfa Nero is geared to land the helicopter directly to the yacht, due to the swimming pool configuration; the targeted landing stop is shown by having a symbol “H” at the bottom of the pool, directly on the landing area. Before boarding the helicopter water is discharged through the edge of the pool into a reserve tank, hydraulic pistons raise the bottom of the pool. Providing a solid and reliable coverage of teak aft deck which gives excellent grip for the helicopter.
The pool can be filled with fresh water instantly within 30 minutes. But if you desire a pool can be filled with salt water. The fresh water will be pumped for storage in the reserve tank and replaced with Sea water.
The creation of the interior design for the Alfa. Nero Nuvolari & Lenard owners chose Alberto Pinto, a well-known Italian designer. The idea of the internal style for the yacht was to create a luxurious atmosphere of a marine theme. Each guest has his or her own unique interior in the cabin. The unique interior is achieved through the use of leather in various colors and a variety of other soft materials.
The underwater theme is used in various parts throughout the yacht. Bedside the tables, which are handcrafted by designer Herve van der Straeten and is reminiscent of the branches of corals. A similar style lamps and sideboards are in the green, the VIP cabin for the crew and coral VIP cabin on the main deck is tastefully decorated. The bedspread and pillows are sewn with similar images of coral. The Bathroom and VIP cabins are lined and made of maple and birch. The floors are made in the form of mosaics Giallo ELISA black slate and marble.
The elegant featured dance room is located between the patio in the aft deck and main salon with its hidden sliding glass partitions to allow further increase this area in conjunction with the main salon. Once the sliding doors of the main deck are open, all the space from the pool before the main salon provides an impressive venue for entertainment. The walls are made of Macassar ebony with inlaid bubbles of zebrano that create the impression of an underwater world. In the main salon is situated next to the extravagant black-and-white Pleyel piano.
Adjacent to the main deck the dining rooms are covered with goatskin. The official dining room can accommodate 14 people at an oval table, while a more casual dining room is located on the starboard side and is designed for 8 persons.
The third dining room is located in the area between the upper salon and aft. The round dining area offers a choice of dinner inside or outside, depending on glass doors position and certainly perfect for moonlight dining.
The owner’s cabin is situated on the upper deck. The aft deck area includes a sofa, which is located directly under the glass roof.
The sky lounge and dining area surrounded by the paneled walls. The texture of the walls resembles flattened golf balls. This design increases the visual space and creates a mood in the spirit of the night club, even in daylight.
The Owners cabin has two entrances via a sliding door. The cabin is equipped with 50-inch high resolution plasma screen and 5.1-channel surround sound system.
The bathroom is in the aft and not adjacent to the bedroom. It is usually located on the other yachts. Adjacent to the shower and Jacuzzi and furnished in marble, complete with stainless steel and wood.
This yacht has five two-bedroom cabins for guests and the Alfa Nero provides luxury cabins to accommodate 12-passenger. All cabins, including the captain’s cabin include a multimedia system for entertainment.
The Alfa Nero has a garage that can accommodate three boats, as well as various water sports equipment. The garage is located near the pool by the walls in the hold. Despite the fact that the garage opens on both sides of the yacht, the door on the left side is considerably larger.
The command logging includes the latest navigation and communications equipment with large shaded windows which allows a vision of 200º. The comprehensive marine system NACOS DEBEG, radars, Inmarsat, weather informer controls the vessel, displaying data on seven different monitors.
The video surveillance system constantly scans the whole yacht, with its 18 onboard cameras placed in key locations of the vessel. They monitor the engine room, each floor, as well as surrounding areas, including the possibility of night vision. The engineer’s compartment monitors all functional systems of the Alfa Nero, this ensuring continuous contact with the captain’s wheelhouse.
Nuvolari & Lenard decided on this intricate task by implementing the elegant design, without losing the functionality of the vessel, providing a long stay in the sea in private and comfort.
